Default Another Upgrade Question, a little confused...

    Hey all,

so ive posted on here saying i have a Ebonite Cyclone which ive been learning to bowl and hook on for some time. more and more im getting a little better with my hooking and bowling but NOT yet achieving the hook 100%. but i still want to upgrade not the the extreme tho to a ball wiht a perfect hook scale at the 200;s and up lol i feel that would be a little TO aggressive for me at the momment which i know most of you would agree on since i havent perfected a hook 100%. most of you have stated the Storm Crossroad, Ebonite GameChanger etc. which seem like really great choices in what im looking for....

now heres the thing, the cyclone is rated on a perfect scale on bowlingball.com as a 167.20.....the Gamechanger is at a 182.7, crossroad at 193.9, hy-road at 173.8 and the victory road at 185.5....im leaning more towards the crossroad but am feeling that it would be to aggresive since its at 193.9...is it to aggressive for me to the state i am at now ? or would it bee a good addition to a little step up upgrade ? or should i stay wiht something in the 180's on a perfect scale....very confusing

I think you should go with the crossroad. You want a big enough step up on the perfect scale to make a difference. I started with a cyclone and recently added a Hammer Rhythm to my arsenal. It's a 211 on the perfect scale and by the time my Rhythm is too strong for the lane my cyclone is perfect. As long as the ball you choose isn't rated in the 220's you should be fine.

Go with the Crossroad. The perfect scale is designed to show hook capability in oil. The higher the number the more oil it will still hook in.

Crossroad won't be too aggressive, it's a good choice for you.
