Default ball strike line paths question

on company websites they have a graph showing the strike line of the bowling balls. My question.... is there a science to doing this? Do they all use the same technique therefore have accurate strke lines? Or do they just choose random bowlers with different rev rates to make the strike line??

    thanks

Pretty much a little bit of all of those, from science and computer modeling to real bowler's testing new ball designs.

thing to remember is, those are just basic guides to how the ball will react. With different lane conditions, layouts, bowler styles, the ball path can be very different.

I wouldn't recommend judging what you buy off of those charts. You're better off watching reaction videos with bowlers who throw the ball similar to you to see how the ball reacts.
