Default ball reaction best for ....

im in a league .. (freshly oiled THS) i bowl medium speed ... more of a cranker no thumb with Lots of revs. Im a righty and prefer to bowl on the 2 or 3 arrow.

    MY QUESTION
is it better to look for a ball that glides thru the lane with a hard hook on the dry end or a ball with more midlane control?

    Thanks

As a higher rev player myself, I personally prefer a ball that has mid-lane control.

It just allows me to be more consistent. Though, it all depends on the skill of the bowler.

what arrows do u bowl on?
I feel like my consistancy is improving enought that i might be able to have success with a ball that has its reaction on the back end oppose to the midlane. I guess when i get my dv8 HRR re polished to glide more ill find out. The out of the box form is way to strong for me

It all depends on the bowling alley I'm in. I really almost never bowl the same exact line.

Speaking of the Hell Raiser Revenge, I just got mine in today. How is it? Is the ball reaction as strong as advertised?

I have two Hell Raiser Revenge's. One drilled pin under, the other pin up. The one that is pin up I also added 7 coats of polish to get the needed length on a 44' THS. I use my thumb with revs usually around 380 and only use 40 degrees of axis rotation on this ball.
The Hell Raiser Revenge that is pin under is strictly for tournaments with real heavy oil. I used it at a tourney with a 45' flat pattern with 50ml. Was able to lay down at 28, out to the 4 and it came back to the pocket. I was the only one on my pair of lanes that could open them up and it was all due to this ball.
