The pizzia was for all of us,,,, Manic, Larry, (a friend that Manic, and me bowl with on Monday afternoons), and myself! I can't wait to have that meal, THAT I WON by LOSING!!!!!! Dude,,, that’s like saying, ( O,,,, I am sorry Mr. Car Salesman, I didn’t read the contract, do I still have to abide by what’s on it!! We met to bowl for what we write on this thread each week! I am soooooo sorry that you, Mr Dude were too busy to take the time to READ what you were Bowling for! As I remember Friday YOU said: “ Are you ready to bowl for the contest!” ( I smiled, knowing you probably didn’t catch the tricky wording again and said, “lets rumble”!)
You probably thought it was strange that I had a smile on my face as you were destroying pins left, and right! Its was a bloody massacre!!! ( I was thinking The Golden Coral) Again,,, I gave it my BEST! But a 234 was not even going to be close!
But having turned 64 this last Tuesday, I fear that that elusive 300 is a super hero dream, and that 800 would be like me growing wings and flying to Bowlers Paradise in the south pacific!
Your 289 was impressive, maybe not quit as impressive as that thick juicy steak I have pictured in my mind’s eye!

It's nothing like that! That would imply that I bought the car and ignored the contract. That would imply that I signed off on everything and ignored the contract. I didn't sign off on anything here because I didn't read anything. There was no agreement in place. It's too vague to clearly mean "If I lose, I will actually instead get to win, because it's opposite day, and I actually get the meal". You're stretching the hell out of those words and again, they wouldn't hold up in court either!

You will lose but win, I checked out at my son's, wife's second grade class! I read them the quote form Pete Weber, and then ask them if it was vague, or stretching the meaning, and they then all agreed, it was very clear, and to the point! ONlY one thought it was vague, his name was Jason,,,, ( you don't have any kids running around northern part of kansas city do you???? They all but one said: "WE GET IT ICEMAN"!! My god Dude/Jason, they are only 7 years old, and they GET IT!!!
So if you don't want to pay up,,,,, that's ok....
I would like to know what others think about this debacle, loss but win!! Licking, but who was the winning one! Should Jason Pay up, is it Icemans fault that he did not take the time to read the print!!! It wasn't even small print!!

They "get it" because they don't have the mental capacity to understand it doesn't make sense.
Furthermore, never did I say "Lets Rumble" after you said those terms.. In fact, I didn't say anything at all after those terms because I didn't read it! Sorry, your contract or whatever you want to call it is void. There was no signature, nor was there a verbal agreement.

I think, after several seconds of careful thought, that due to a word jumble that Mike was actually playing multiple games at the same time. Mental, physical and written. Therefore I rule that last week's bet is null and void. The next bet should be a steak dinner for the winner paid for by the loser with it being a two game series. This will help root out a lucky game by either participant.
