Our league started tonight. It's a 4-game-a-week league, I had to bowl a vacant team. So we pretty much automatically win. Only a 2 person league. I had a 229, 214, 159(LOL), and 228. The 159 I had 4 splits and was messing up badly. I used my Vivid for that game and the previous two. The last game I switched to my Nexxus, which obviously was a good idea. My average is 207 after the 4 games tonight. The last league I just finished I ended with a 207. I hopefully will have a average in the 2-teens after this league.

Mike did well as well, he got himself a new ball and was throwing it great. I'll let him further explain how he did when he posts his scores.

My wife is a 140 bowler, but I love to bowl with her, on any given night she can have a great game! The people on this league are all TOP GUNS! 210 and up averages. We are bowling 4 games, and Its going to be and experience. 80 percent of 210. ( should be higher with joyce but thats ok) I think she is the only one in the league that does not have a 200 plus average... So she will be the only one getting pins. O,, I will get 7, my average was 201 for the first day!
I was using my new ball that Trent exchanged the Vivid for! ((( You all remember the Vivid, vividly right ()))). He gave me a Storm Virtual gravity, and it works like a champ.... my 803 series is somewhat deciving, had my share of what looked like GREAT shots, leaving the 10 pin. I had a good night on the 10 pin only missing it 2 times out of the several It is a great ball and I know I am going to get that 300 game and 700 series in league and it will be my first SANCTIONED league! I am now a USBC member. The tean we went up against will be one of the top teams to beat! They had 886, and 910,!!
I did beat them both on my first game, they had a 221, and 231! I had a 235 with the new virtual gravity! That felt good!! ooooooo yaaaa~~~ Then they had for their next games a 211, 238, then 242, 224, final game 212 217! These guys were good, BUT NOT THAT GOOD... I am going to get them!!! I just need your prayers please!! most of my games where I didn't strike, it was a solid 10 pin left behind. Its just a matter of adjusting, I was very pleased with starting out cold with a new ball!
Jason had a great start, take away that one bad game, and he would be right in there with the Top Guns!! If Jason would have been on my team we would have kicked some butt tonight! I plan on throwing the new ball (Virtual gravity), and I can't say enough about it,,, all thow my average was just 201, once I find the adjustment for 10 pin leave, it will be deadly!!! They were in the pocket good looking hits!!

I want to Public Thank Trent Overbey for working with me on the Vivid ball! He did ONE Hell of a job on the new virtual gravity, and it has a great hook into the pocket!! Ya, there are a bunch of good bowlers. I know that the other female in the league has about a 150 average too. So Joyce won't be the only one under 200. I'm sure there will be about 5 people under 200.

Jason your right,,, there was one other female bowler, but since I only have eyes for my wife,,,, I didn't even notice her!!!! ( I hope my wife reads this thread)!!
She is the first Sun Light I see in the morning, looking into her eyes is like seeing a bowling alley with perfect oil, no other people in it, soft music playing in the back ground 70s/80 erra, bucket of ice filled with H2O! Yes call me a dreamer, and you woulden't be wrong, but then dreams are the life I live every day with my wife!!!!

Well after beating Mike all day in every other game, I AGAIN, lost the one that mattered. The Championship Trillion Dollar Game I lost 230 to 227

A couple cool facts today too.. I picked up the 4,7,10 split which was exciting. I didn't pick it up the way I wanted, it was a lot of luck. I hit the 4 pin just barely on the right, it hit off the wall, bounced off the wall and hit the 7, the 7 slid across into the 10. It was pretty cool. Also, Mike had a strike while talking to his son on the phone. As if it was no big deal, just casually talking to his son, picks it up and tosses a strike lol.
