[B]No one Cares Hot Shot!! You laughed at me,,,, your evil Jason! Why in god’s name would you laugh at me knowing I was trying my best, fighting pain!! Yes Jason, I had to go to the hospital and have major surgery! They wanted to do it before the match, but I said that there were people out there depending on me to give you some manners! Yes I had several transplants, and made it there just in time!
The doctor said, I was a lucky man to still be alive, and if I would have been any later, odds are that I would not be here typing these facts!
I now need time to recover,,, the anti-rejection medication is making it hard for me to dislike you Jason! (anti-rejection, hard to dislike you, get it,,,,)
I still think you were lucky!! Caught me on a bad day, with several organs going bad!! I am a new man now! And as soon as all the stiches heal up,,, over 1353,,, I will show you that, even a man my age, (in the middle ages, I would have been dead 33 years ago),,, can beat a spinner, in his prime! [/B]

Wow,,, I know its only been a short time since all the transplants…… ( A FEW HOURS) , but…. I FEEL like a NEW MAN!! I know the failing organs, had a lot to do with my defeat to the hands of Jason.

Ok,,,, I did it!! I have been having problems with my two power house balls! I changed the pitch to reverse on my Undefeated, and had the new V.G.Gravity nanno drilled in reverse also! WRONG!!! BAD IDEA!! I thought it would give me more rev’s, but not the case, It not only just about destroyed my Thumb, (blisters on the back and inside), it also hurt my accuracy! Had Trent plug and redrill both!
He came down to lane 42, and 43, gave me the V.G. Nanno first and I bowled a 254! It felt great, and guess what?? I didn’t need to put a turn-a-cut on the base of my thumb! He then said that there was a problem with the Undefeated,,, MY REAL SOWARD of honor!! And that he could replug it, or put a slug in the bad hole. I went with the slug. He brought it down to where I was waiting like a father, in a waiting room,,,,, waiting to find out If it’s a boy or girl,,,, ect ,,ect.. my palms were sweating,,, he said something about a crack…. “What you cracked my UNDEFEATED???.... then after what seemed to be and eternity he placed it in my hands, said give it a try…. It felt very snug on the thumb, I thought that it could have been swelling due to the operation!! I bowled a 212 with it.

So now Iam ready for league bowling Tuesday Night! Bunch of TOP Guns, $1000.00 14 week league…. (way out of my class), but I thought it would be fun bowling with them.
I started out with the V.G. Nanno…. Had a 213 with it… several VERY NICE BEAUTIFUL in the pocket 10 pin leaves at critical times! I was very happy with how it rattled the pins, just off somewhere…..
I pulled out the Undefeated!!

I bowled a 232, then a 231,,,, could have been better but did leave a few 10 pins,, but not many! Ball started to hang up on my thumb some into the 4 game. And in the 10 frame working on a spare in the 9, the ball hung up like I have never seen in my life,,, it went straight for the lights, I think it actually hit the ceiling, an it twisted me around, and almost re-broke-my-neck!! (broke it back in 1992, Iron working accident fell!
I have never NEVER had a ball stick like that!! My thumb didn’t look like it had swelling that could have caused it to stick? I am going to have Trent take a look at it tomorrow. The Undefeated would have given me a possible 224 game again if I would have striked out in the tenth,,, and It was working good enough to do just that…. As it turns out I had a spare in the 9th, then had the ball hit the ceiling, I changed balls, after pulling my neck and right arm back into place, (with the help of my wife). Pulled out the V.G. Nanno and threw on my second shot a solid 10 pin leave. Wound up with a 184!! Lost the advandage of the spare in the 9th, and then had the accident with the ball sticking on the thumb. When we got home my wife said: ( Honey stand up against the wall, (which I did, I was getting ready for some kinky,,,,, (then she said put your arms down to your side,,,,,, ( I said do you want me to wear a blind fold), she then took a picture of me with our digital camera and put it on the monitor! My right arm now is 3 inches longer then my left!! The only way I know to correct the situation is to go to the bowing alley tomorrow with Jason, grab the ball with my left hand, while holding the ball have Jason drive some wood wedges into and around the thumb hole,,,, line up and swing the Hel@!! , out of the ball! After I awake form the pain of equalization of non bowling arm I should look normal again!
I did learn a lesson! Reverse pitch did not give (me) more revs. In fact I am getting more now with out! I almost had my league 700 series, 212 232 231= 675

I really like the way the balls work now that I corrected the pitch!
I now feel ready to take JASON on again!! (( I must admit, Jason is bowling extremely well))!
I feel like I should be given ONE MORE CHANCE to redeem myself! Now that I have the Pitch taken care of, so here’s my PITCH!!! Jason, I am a born again bowler!! The Pitch was a HUGE MISTAKE,,, LET
Rumble ONE more time for Old Times Sake!! Lets bowl 3 games ((((((Just to see if it was nothing to do with me and my age, but rather the PITCH of my thumb holes being WAY WRONG!! Do you Accept!!

First off, let me say -- I ACCEPT!!!

Secondly, I'd like to say that I laughed my a$$ off reading through that whole thing! Thanks for the laughs! I'm glad you can joke about it, because it sure looked bad! I hope your neck is alright. Let me say, that Mike may be exaggerating a little when he says it hit the ceiling, but I can confirm that it was AT LEAST 7 feet off the ground. All I could see was the ball floating in the air (It did have nice revs on it! LOL), then it plunked right in the gutter... My first reaction -- "HOLY SH!T" as my teammate said "WHAT?" and turned around.

I've seen Mike have the ball stay on his thumb a little longer before because it sticking, but nothing like that. Like I say, I'm glad you didn't get seriously injured. Good bowling tonight!

By the way, I'm starting to believe June is MY month.. As you know, I keep track of all my bowling in leagues in tournaments for each month, here is my average from each month since I started bowling in leagues again in January...

January - 21 Games - 205.3 AVG
February - 33 Games - 194.5 AVG
March - 44 Games - 207.2 AVG
April - 39 Games - 205.1 AVG
May - 28 Games - 205.4
June - 30 Games - 221.0 AVG!!!

Unless I sub for a league, that'll close the book on June. 221! I hope that is a sign of things to come.

LoL,,, not Bam-Bam, but Fred himself! I swear, it look to me like I hit the ceiling…..even thought I saw particles coming down from the collision! The whole thing would have been funny, if it were not for the pain it caused to my neck, and GOOD possibility of 4 two hundred plus games in a role. All kidding a side, the reverse pitch that I had my balls changed to several months ago, was a HUGE mistake, in my case. As I mentioned I feel like a Born Again Bowler now!! No more tape up the back side of thumb, and inside the thumb.
Now that I have had all my tranplants, and they seem to be doing well! Now that my balls feel great now! I am ready for Jason! (maybe),,,, we will see!

One result of the ball accident yesterday is that I can now turn my neck 360 degree’s! I can now see myself coming and going!! Just not at the same time!
And my bowling thumb would be a formidable opponent in a thumb wrestling contest. If nothing else it would intimidate most opponents! Its at least 32/64ths longer then my left thumb, and ½ inch in circumference bigger around!

Just want to tell you Mike, you might want to reconsider your offer. I AM ON FIRE!! I'd hate to hurt your ego even more with another victory.

I went to practice tonight and bowled with my NeXXus f(P+R) all night... I had a 235, 235, 193, 248, 226, 233, and 288! I blew another 300! I had the first 10 strikes, just needed two more, and I threw what I thought was a good ball (hit my mark), and it just never really came around. Hit really low in the pocket and left the 4,8 (picked that up for the 288).

I'm happy though, because the more I get into that situation, the more comfortable and calm I will be when I get there, and the 300's will start coming.
