Also to you Mike for giving a ball to an unsuspecting spectator today. For that generosity I lift the ban on the large print. Your kindness earned you the right to post in whatever size you desire. Jason, that was some freaking awesome bowling today. As high as you keep setting the bar, I wonder how long before bowling begins to bore you. Hope you posted for your free shirt on the other thread.

Well, it was the right thing to do. I can remember being about 12 and a guy that I would see up at the alley a lot gave me one of his bowling balls. I was very happy as well, and it drove me into the sport more. I know that Ursus' son is probably as happy as I was when I was given a ball when I was young, and if it makes him want to bowl more, then that is all the better!

Thanks, Bill. Bowling will never bore me! It was just one heck of a day (that I hope to repeat tomorrow especially). It's amazing how much better I've gotten in just two months time. I just hope I can get good on sport patterns like you are. Planning on doing a sport league this fall and practicing hard to get good on those patterns.

Unfortunately, I don't have a Marauder. That one I threw the other day belonged to a guy that we bowl with. Mike did use his today (and forgive me if that is who the question was intended for), and that ball works well for him. Hooks more than any ball he has, and crushes the pocket.

I think I am going to get the Terror soon.

Mike's Nano barely hooks. He's it getting a make over on it. Here's the thing.. The balls were drilled pin up, and Mike doesn't have a ton of revs. So drilling his balls pin up is going to give it more length, and he doesn't have the revs to get it to cut in sharp at the end. So he is getting the Nano plugged and drilled pin down, so that way the ball will start hooking earlier. I'll send you a PM about it.

Witnessed today was greatness on a scale of Landing on the moon, a no hitter, or even a hole in one ! YOU almost did it twice,, within and hour,,, 800 series 299, and then the 300! Great,,,, job!!
