Thanks Iceman Mike. I will try to bowl with you guys as often as I can. Fridays are tough for me to get off. I will be at the North-pole tomorrow if you want to come and throw some games. James will be drilling all my equipment from now on. Can't wait to see how everything works out. I sure as hell could use the spare ball though, whenever I see you next I'll gladly accept it.

Dream team in the neat future sounds good to me brotha. Glad you made the wife a little more happier.

    Default End of a Thread

It is with a heavy heart that I, Iceman end this thread! The Dude/Jason is the Bowling KING! Its been fun, but he has developed into a bowling machine that only knows X X X X X 's! I will be 64 this coming monday, and my broken down old body can't even come close to where this Young Man is bowling! Its been fun! Thanks, Dude for the memories!!! Remember when you bowl the PBA,,, that some old broken down X Iron Worker form local #10 is watching you on his TV, good lord willing! Now,,,,,, I am leaving this thread with tears forming in my eyes,,,, as I think of all the great moments we have had!
Old bowlers don't quit, they just fade away........ or is that melt away... good-bye,,,, Good-Bye my friends...... I'll keep on rolling til the ball don't roll any more!! farewell, and so long!

    It's a sad day!

Don't do it, Iceman! Don't throw in the towel! You're still a hell of a bowler, no matter your age! You've still got great games in you, and that 300 is coming!

There's an old proverb that says people tend to migrate towards those they hang around, like the greatness rubs off. In my opinion, that is never more true than in bowling. The better the competition, the better we become. Mike, even if Jason beats you ten straight weeks, that internal drive to beat your opponent will be what gets you to that 300/800. And the fact that you keep putting up the numbers is what keeps Jason sharp. He knows he can't lose focus when bowling you. You both bowled these Friday matches at a point in time where you both needed them, pushing each other to excellence, on the way to perfection.

Default A final thought for all my good friends

THAT WAS GREAT Dude!! Lol….. very funny!! I am not throwing in the towel! Its more like knowing when I am up against a superior opponent/friend! Your so damn good now, I might as well purchase a lottery ticket, chances of winning would be more favorable!! Lol Today is my 64th birthday! I looked in the mirror and thought it was a stranger, not me!!

In your mind, at least my twisted, warped one, I am stuck in the 40’s age period of my life! I feel 40, but look in the mirror and see Moses’s from the Old testament! ( In fact an artist friend of mine said I remind him of Moses! (Since there are no know pictures of the man, I wonder how he sees the similarity! Lol

We will still bowl together, as long as I can walk, and still see the pins, but to challenge you would be futile! I doubt I could win over ½ of the games.

So all good things must come to an end! Dude, You are the Best! P.S. thanks Bill for the kind words! You are not only a Great Bowler YOURSELF, but you are many other wonderful things also! I can’t think of any off hand, but I know deep down in your soul, there must be some!!

So I say with a heavy heart,,,,,, thanks,,,,,, Thanks to all you sick people that have read this old man’s thread,,, almost made my goal of 20,000! But my main goal has always been to bring a warm smile to all our readers her on the greatest bowling site on the net! Old Bowlers never die, they just lose their rev’s!! goodbye,,,,, GOODBYE,,, my good on line FRIENDS!!

Are there more bowling quest that this man of Herculean proportions needs to address?? Could it be that it was not time for Iceman to simply melt into the fabric of madness that this world is spiraling into! Especially in bowling establishments!!

My god people, one of the last bastions of solace, the bowling alley,,,,,,,, and its turning into a place of loud, rude, lumpy, raw, rough, discorded souls! Can even ICEMAN, make a difference? The Dude is a great bowler, but ((are his intentions honorable, or,,OR is he the Anti-bowler))???

The Dude's intentions are honorable. That's why you can't consistently beat him. Good vs. Good. If he was evil then a hero could beat him every time.

I didn’t say he was Evil! I said he just might be the Anti-Bowler! I Anti going to beat him in all probability! He has morphed into something greater then the sum of all his parts! He has the power, revs, velocity, and accuracy to defeat anyone even Pete Weber!! He is Anti, Proti, and Nuclei all rolled up into one! To defeat The Dude, You must have your best game ready, and hope,,,, JUST hope, he has an off day!! No,,,, The Dude is not evil,,,,, he is just too good to be human!!
