NO... it was (not sure what you call it) If you get 9 pins you get a strike!! "What's that called?" On the tip of my tongue"! Look at the scores and see who the King of that is!!
The highlight of the series was Jasons 300! Good clean game,,, I think I had a few 10/7 pin leaves,,,, not many..... I will get that 800 believe me!! I have had not long ago in practice 2 great games together,,,, 275, and 276,,,,, don't ask what the first one was,,!! lol My golden ball of magic will produce that 800!!

League is sanctioned, therefore legit honor scores still count. As long as you have no strikes that changed because of a 9 count (which can be seen by it's color, normal strike is black, a 9 count strike is red) then it is legit. Also, the front counter can tell if it was changed.

My 300 was legit, and had several witnesses to prove such.

I thought the head Nut of the league was not going to count it as a 300, due to the fact it was done on the 9 pin tap! I went up there and came unglued! "I mean, it was a clean, and magnificent game to watch!

We were at the counter, the manager said it was a sanctioned 300 regardless of the fact we were playing, 800 tap for Iceman!! LOL,,,, That's what I had.. (check it out) lol,,, I kick some 9 pin butt!!

Getting back to the confrontation at the counter,,,

I guess I thought the league head nut was going to say it didn't count,,, my wife said I looked like I was about to go off on him!,,, with my arms flying and in his face.... With my face 3 inch's form his, I said Jason bowled a clean 300 game, and he is going to get credit, as the alley manager agreed with me,,,, Then he said,,, " what are we arguing about?? I agree....!

Talk about an about face.... anyway, I was sticking up for my buddy,,,,, Its just the way I am, esp when I know its right!! GREAT JOB JASON!!!

I am glad that you have been (Born Again Bowler), and you have come to the conclusion that your not burnt out now, and want to bowl this Summer!! I am sure we will both have another one this summer,,, I can feel it in my ICE....... Iceman

The Dude,, my good friend that has got me into bowling at the level I am now, wants to bowl the tough 2 person 14 week 1000.00 purse for first place league!

I begged him on this web site to do it with ICEMAN!! He turned me down publicly many,, MANY times!

Now that he bowled that 300 the other day, and I bowled mine, (and have been hotter then hell bowling here lately), "HE WANTS TO TEAM UP WITH ICEMAN"!!
Hotter then Hell, Iceman,,, is that an oxymoron.... Or why am I dripping at this very moment!

I have already ask a good bowler that placed 5 in the AMF Open District, division a few months ago. He accepted! It start's next Tuesday and its loaded with some great talent! One bowler (LOOK HIM UP IN THE RECORDS) PAT HENDERSON Missouri bowling hall of fame... a bowling god at 57.... ( even if he is young enough to be one of my sons), I will do battle with him... FOR I HAVE NO FEAR!! I walked the Iron hundreds of feet in the air, built towers 1000 feet high, I have no fear!!

The Dude wants to bowl with me, now! I like Gene a lot, and don't want to lose his friendship, and was looking forward to bowling with him, but Jason came to me with tears in his eyes, begging me to call Gene, and tell him that I wanted The Dude to bowl with me.

He literally dropped to his knee's and in a quivering voice, while holing my right leg tightly begged,,, Please call him Iceman,,, PLEASE!!

What should Iceman do.... He was melting my heart,,, tears flowing down his cheeks, eyes, bloodshot,,, ICEMAN was defrosting!!

Should I call Gene,, Should I have Jason call Gene,,,, Should we have a third party, James the Pro shop guy call Gene ,,,,

Should I say YOU had your chance,,, decided not to bowl with Iceman,,, NOW showing no pride, you beg,,,, BEG like a Beggar lacking in sustenance!

Quit whining,,, whimpering,,, I can't take it Dude,,, you HAD your Chance......

Maybe next time, ICEMAN is a Man of Honor,, I will bowl with Gene.... and may the chips fall where they may!! I will pray for you Dude,,,, Pray that some other bowler almost as good as ME, decides to give you a home on that League!!

(not my words, but the great words of a bowler friend of mine, " ALMOST" nick name.) Has more Almost 300 games then stars in the sky!! We just call him ALMOST!
How many times have we all gathered around for that final 12th throw, only to leave a ringing ten pin, or 7... Almost, are the words he always hears, never congratulations!

It's true, it's true! I didn't want to bowl in the summer! Mike asked me and asked me, but I always turned him down, and it pained me to do so. The little boyish look in his eyes as I had repeatedly turned him down.... boy that was hard to look at. There were times I saw what I thought were tears coming from his eyes, but he insisted it was just condensation because it was too hot for iceman and was causing him to melt ever so slightly. I know your secret, I know you were crying.

Gene, a great teammate (I should know, we took first in a 4 person team league this season, and I believe we CRUSHED you in that league!). He'll be there for you, but can you count on him to be there for you when you melt? Can you count on him to bowl a 300 when you need it!?!? I know you guys will be a good team. It's just too bad that I have now changed my mind, and now you are locked on a team with him. Because now, I must dominate you AGAIN! Me and BIG WILLIE (My new teammate)! We are ready for war. Come prepared.

I do wish it had worked out where we were on the same team, but sometimes the situation isn't always so FROSTY. Good luck this season Iceman, I'll never forget what might have been, and those innocent, sad, boyish eyes, hidden under that ice white beard!

I have matured, at 64, ( I know hard to believe ME MATURE, I hear it all the time how I don't look a day over 62 ) I have Morphed into a full-fledged, grown-up matured, ripened almost pro level bowler! YOU WILL FELL the Wrath, fury and indignation of defeat when we meet!

Oooo I see you mentioned your victory in league play on Sunday night,,, I bowled that whole league LEFT HANDED!! I doubt you even notice, it was so smooth! If I can bowl that good, with my left hand, imagine the damage I could of done using my right!!

Who is your Daddy in the big 22 game for $8000.00!!.....Let me look at the standing,,,, tic,,, tic,,, tock,,,,, tic... I am back Dude,,, Wow I had to look waaaay back to find out HOW FAR you are behind Iceman and Manic!! It was sooooooooo far back that I couldn't see it with the NAKED EYE,,, I had to use a telescope!!!

Jason, I've never heard of a sanction 9 pin league or tournament before. Now that I know they have them, I'm left to wonder why our summer leagues aren't sanctioned. If they were, I would have eight 300 games plus two more if they sanctioned the tournaments.
I bowled in a fab 5 tournament last weekend. Ten game qualifier, two per team , each bowler alternates frames and order alternates each game. Joe and I had three 300s in the first ten games. I don't remember our exact average but it was over 250 for the tournament. It was a nice win for my wallet at a time I really needed it. The best part; we went there to practice and a team didn't show so we bowled in it.
