Depends on what you mean by better. I have four DV8 balls with two being HRR and won the Nexxus here. The sound the DV8s make when they hit the pins is incomparable. If you're talking about maximum hook in oil then the HRR makes the Nexxus and Defiant look like a joke. The Defiant and Nexxus are good balls but just not at the same level of the HRR. They are closer to the original Hell Raiser.

well... itchy to get a HRR to try now instead of brunswick and defiant.. hope i win the event and gets it.. =P but.. shipping fee >_<

With all the balls your have billf, which in your house, with fresh oil, do you use most of the time? I kinow at the two alleys where I bowl, I use the Undefeated/mission ball.
Which I am told is the same ball, I don't have the mission, I found out here that they are one in the same!.. Two different alleys, and the ball works great in both. So I wonder if I really need any new balls?? Both AMFs put the oil down fresh just before we bowl, so it seems to be about the same each time we bowl.
