Thread: what do wide bowling shoes do ?

    Default what do wide bowling shoes do ?

    idk never really got into researching so i thought id ask what the difference is ? does it give u more of a balance ?

    I think they're meant for people with wide feet. I think it would be bad for someone with regular shaped feet since their foot would move side to side inside the shoe. My feet are so wide that with a regular width shoe I need an 11.5 just for the width. I wear a 9.5 or 10 with a 4E (extra extra wide).

    well that makes sense haha idk why i didnt think of the reason why they had wide shoes lmao i thought it was for balance or something woops thanks tho guys appreciate it!

    I don't know?? I wear open toe sandals, non slide! I can't complain, just had my second 300, in 6 months, and a 780 series! I think bowing shoes are highly overrated... LOL (

    I wonder if it would be legal to bowl barefoot?

    Anyone know of a person who has or a specific rule against it?

    Maybe I'll try it and start a trend?? Like barefoot running...it's all the rave.

    Whoa! Has anyone just bowled in socks?? I bet you could get a decent slide in socks. I might actually try that tomorrow before leagues start.

    That's basically where the idea for the slide sock came from, they pulled a sock on over the shoe.

    Right handed Stroker, high track ,about 13 degree axis tilt. PAP is located 5 9/16” over 1 3/4” up.Speed ave. about 14 mph at the pins. Medium rev’s.High Game 300, High series 798
