I have to give Barnes some credit. He has been beaten by a female a few times on tour and not once have I heard him make an excuse.
Might just be because he doesn't want Lynda to have to set him straight lol

I imagine Chris Barnes is used to being beaten by women as his wife Linda has
more than likely beaten him a lot over the years on the lanes. I agree I've never
heard him make any excuses over being beaten by Kelly he took his beat down
    like a man and smiled.

Why would a professional bowler get upset? Bowling is a game of offense only. The person that throws the best score is the winner; whether by 1 pin or 100 pins. Every bowler has had an off day. Don't see Kelly getting angry that she hasn't made the finals since.

    agree except the offense only.

you can play D to some respect. I remember a post on here about one tourny where mika used a plastic ball the entire practice session to push oil into areas where he knew his opponents would be playing. that...and their is always playing certain lines to throw off oppoents during as well. so it may be like 98% offense...but you can play D to some respect

Agreed. However, to do that during a match would hinder the performance of the bowler attempting to hinder the opponent.

depends on the bowler. someone good enough to play multiple ways vs someone that isn't as versatile, could play right over someone else's like to mess them up and take them out of their game.
