It has been about 3 years since I have been bowling, mainly because of scheduling and budget conflicts. But it looks like I will be able to start bowling on Tuesdays for a while. It's only going to be open bowling for the summer unless there is a league on Tuesday nights that hasn't started yet.
One thing that I am excited about is we moved to a city with a bowling alley. Since we moved to Florida 9 years ago, we have lived in rural areas and had to drive at least 45 minutes in order to bowl. Now we live about a mile away from one. I'm just hoping it is a decent house. The next closest one is about an hour away.

Good luck and make the best of it. Our house is small (12 lanes) and super old but it's my second home.

Welcome!! This website has HELPED, and is helping me a lot!! A lot of folks that know bowling,,, not only great information,,, but a lot of fun stuff too!!! michael
I miss the manual scoring!! So easy to navagate!! O.... well ... progress!!! ((And they wonder why kids can't do basic math anymore))! (I remeber when I use to work at a store, you had to FIGURE in you HEAD the change to give a person.... NOW DAYs,,, They look lost if you throw in and extra coin to make it and even return...daaaaa!
Things are just getting a little toooooo easy. ((old school talk) lol
I remember the days of manual scoring, with the overhead projectors. I also remember when Olympia lanes put in the first automatic scorers in our area. We went once, but it was too expensive to keep going there. I think it was 2.65 per game or something like that.
