Thread: Starting Again

    Default Starting Again

It has been about 3 years since I have been bowling, mainly because of scheduling and budget conflicts. But it looks like I will be able to start bowling on Tuesdays for a while. It's only going to be open bowling for the summer unless there is a league on Tuesday nights that hasn't started yet.

One thing that I am excited about is we moved to a city with a bowling alley. Since we moved to Florida 9 years ago, we have lived in rural areas and had to drive at least 45 minutes in order to bowl. Now we live about a mile away from one. I'm just hoping it is a decent house. The next closest one is about an hour away.

luckily Singapore's small.. for 1 hour of drive away I can go practically to the other side of the country to bowl.. haha.. from my house to the bowling alleys takes about 5 mins drive only.. but normally i take the bus..

Good luck and make the best of it. Our house is small (12 lanes) and super old but it's my second home.

I remember the days of manual scoring, with the overhead projectors. I also remember when Olympia lanes put in the first automatic scorers in our area. We went once, but it was too expensive to keep going there. I think it was 2.65 per game or something like that.
