Scratch Leagues

Hi all,

I have been bowling for a while and have increased my average considerably. I want to really push myself and was wondering how I would know if I was ready for a scratch league. Does anybody have any good ways to tell?

Is your average 210 or higher? That's where I would probably draw the line where I live (as far as suggesting someone to join a scratch league), but it could be different for your area depending on the quality of bowlers in said leagues. Find a scratch league and ask them.

Membership has dwindled in our alley in recent years for the scratch league. Last year a 165 average was needed to sign up and still had trouble filling the league
