What exactly is a sport league and how do I know if I am ready?

Sport leagues use different patterns other than a typical house shot. Personal opinion, anybody that wants to get better is ready. It can be humiliating and humbling. Your scores WILL be lower. More of an emphasis is placed on reading the lanes, adjustments and accuracy. Most people in my area that do our sport league during the summer average ten pins or more higher in their fall league.
