Our area pro shop guy was on the PBA tour years ago. Tore his Achilles tendon, pro career over. He just retired as a teacher from the local school system. A lefty, he looks like a robot, same mark, same target, same rev rate, same everything every time. His average the past 15 years has been 228-257. We have others averaging over 220 at their home center. Only one would I consider a good bowler. Why? He is the only one that can go and get the same scores at other houses with other patterns. We have guys that know, depending on the lane, which board to hit for their ball to come back (wood lanes in a house over 50 years old). These guys beat me on a regular basis yet when we got to tournaments they can't hang. Oh, and on our summer PBA experience league (the ones that didn't get too scared) they are averaging 75 pins under average and below me!

is pretty much automatic. He stands at around 35 and throws across to the one board and the ball always finds it's way perfectly to the pocket. He had 2 300's this season and to many 270+ games to count. I think his average across all the nights he bowled was around a 220. The only thing that really seems to throw him off is when he's bowling on the right side and the ball return catches him, above ground ball return. He is a great guy though and will take all the time in the world to show you what you are doing wrong and how to fix it.
