That's awesome! Good to see you are out of the slump. I know exactly how you feel because I have been in a slump myself since the beginning of this year. Maybe I'll try to focus on my fundamentals as well and try to find the culprit!
Lately I have been in an absolutely hellacious slump. After several weeks of 600s, 700s and even an 800, I fell into the pits. My last few weeks have been a 521, 586 and a 498! SO, I went back to the drawing board - that means back to the basics. I took apart my push-away, first step, second third and fourth steps, arm-swing and release. What did I find? I have been grabbing at the ball at the point of release. Something so simple did that much damage. So, I concentrated on a smoother release - still getting some hand in it, and bingo. The hook is back, the roll is back and I am once again getting some confidence back...

Glad you figured it out! You'll be back to 700s (and maybe even another 800) in no time.

Funny thing I was trying to figure it out with using different hand positions and releases and such, but the real answer was in the basics...

It usually is. Still glad to hear you found the culprit
