Question I feel strongly both ways......

Okay, I have come to the decision that I need a strong/aggressive ball that hooks earlier than my Critical Theory. I have decided that it will be a Defiant or perhaps the Storm IQ that will soon be released. I just don't know which one. I would like something that will read well in the mid-lane and make a strong move on the back-end. My style is that of a Tweener. My ave speed is around 17MPH and my rev rate is right at 360 RPM.

What say yous guys??? Which should I get?

Here's an article about the RICO layout. Not sure if it's applicable to what you really want but worth asking your driller about.

You want something that hooks earlier uh... How bout the DV8 Hell Raiser Revenge Pin Down.. If i'm right it hooks earlier than the Pin up.. but according to my Pro shop here.. they say that in Singapore, Pin Down is (not nice to play with) maybe its because it hooks too early before it can get down to the lane into the pocket..

Generally speaking Eugene, anything pin down will read the lane earlier than the same ball pin up. However, reading early can mean more of a gradual hook. The Hell Raiser Revenge is a stronger ball than the Defiant but may be too much ball.

Not this time, Eugene02. Maybe my next ball after this one. This time it is Defiant, Vivid or IQ.....

I would say the defiant. Because from what i've read in this forum previously before i signed up and after i signed up, they were talking about 3 balls, Defiant, Nexxus and Vivid. Most people will choose the defiant first than the nexxus than the vivid.. So.. Personal preference is also the Defiant. Almost got that ball until i was introduced to the DV8 Hell Raiser Revenge which didn't make me regret my choice.. Of course if you didn't need such a good high hook rating ball, I would recommend to wait for the Defiant Edge. Looks pretty awesome to me..
