Great job. Keep working at it and you will get the high speed and the accuracy eventually.
last time i practiced about a week ago i bowled my game high 244 ....and today i beet it by 10 pins with a 254!
I bowl with no thumb and i always tend to ''crank'' it but my accuracy on the arrows was not good and very inconsistant so i decided to just let my arm drop naturally (stroker style) and it improved my accuracy alot. Sure it slowed down my shot but im hitting the pocket alot more

thanks, iv always been jelouse of the guys who can bowl 18mph and just smash the pins but it just doesnt work for me, i know im not week but i guess most of it all comes down to technique. Hopefully ill be able to slowly increase speed as my accuracy gets better. Mabye its time for me to hit up the total gym
maybe it's time to learn how to bowl with the thumb too?

I'm fine with your no thumb style but am wondering; if stroking instead of cranking, why not use the thumb? Isn't the purpose of no thumb bowling to increase speed and revs? That's the most common reason I've been told.

This whole "no thumb" or "two-finger" bowling style is new to me. I just don't see how you can hang onto the ball long enough to release it out in front of you. I tried it a few times and I dropped it at my feet every time. Maybe you use smaller finger holes??? I'm not sure. BUT it is cool to see a new style being used. That two handed bowling style just "wows" me sometimes with what someone can do with that ball. I have never seen so much spin on the ball as it slides down the lane. Seems that is something a "two-finger" style will not be able to do. Or am I wrong with that comment??? I wouldn't mind someone breaking down how "two-finger" bowling actually works and what is going on with it. All about learning something new.
No thumb is not that much different to 2 hand releases. They both release basically the same way but the swing and the approach are completely different. I'm able to get a good backswing with a little help of my left hand
