Thread: Trying Left Handed

    Default Trying Left Handed

Since my shoulder is still not feeling good, I am going to try bowling left handed tonight. I think it may help me teach my daughter how to bowl, as I will be learning all over again. I just want to get out and bowl. Hopefully I won't embarrass myself too bad.

i have tryed bowling left handed for fun and it was funny on how different my approach is cause i was doing my normal approach sliding with wrong foot but it took awhile to figure it out but the shots where the funnyest all over the lane but good thing never one right of the head pin.

I bowl both left and right. My balls are all drilled for right. That being the case I played straight up the second arrow and the first game sucked bad, like a 68. After that is was alright but not great. That first summer I averaged 128 lefty.

I'll be happy with a 38 tonight. I'll be using a house ball. I'm just not confident that I can bowl lefty with a 16# ball. Also, I don't want to carry my 2 ball bag in today. I'm trying to go easy on the shoulder. It is definitely going to be interesting.

Not a bad night. 109 and 127. Left handed. I'm happy with that.

About half of mine are drill for left. If I try to put either my left hand in one of the right balls or my right hand into a left, I can only get the very tip of the middle finger in and my thumb gets stuck before the first knuckle. only the ring finger goes in easily.

My fingers are the same size on both hands and I have interchangeable thumbs. Good thing too as the right thumb is almost twice as big as the left. I used a friend's ball one time, he's left handed, it hooked way too much for me.

My hands are almost exact mirror images of each other. I can get either thumb into any of the balls, but with the oval holes the fingers don't wind up anywhere near the finger holes.
