I didn't try moving left (left handed) because I started on the oil line and it kept hooking. I'll have to give that a shot and see what happens.

I am a physics buff so thinking outside the box is normal. Sometimes it's been said my box is so small you can't even tell it's there. That's what made me try moving in the opposite direction from conventional wisdom. If the ball is too strong, why not move both feet and target more to the ball side? My thinking was that the extra friction would absorb some of the energy. I couple that with some extra revs. The extra revs are suppose to allow more skid. Combining more skid with less skid due to friction and I ended up with about the same distance at my break point. Then the core and the "ledge" built from the previous rolls guide the ball into the pocket. If I'm leaving ten pins I may move even more ball side or play with the speed. How long I take to decide which adjustment and when depends on how much is at stake that game. In all honesty, the more riding on the game the faster I adjust and pick the easiest adjustment first.

I could see burning off the energy on the way down. I've done that with other equipment and they seemed to roll out early and hit like a purse. But the experiment is defintely worth performing.

The Nexxus hits like a purse.........with a brick in it. Most of the time it does for me any how. I had a shot last night during practice that sounded like an empty tin can. It definitely left me scratching my head but then they rack started messing up. The employee came back with a broken pin. I'm hoping that was the cause of the funny noise and seriously weak hit.
