I'm waiting for the league schedules to come out. I want to do it Dec 15th. That's my granddaughter's birthday. The money is for Dayton Children's Hospital and that is where she was born, with an inoperable brain tumor. They tried surgery anyway but weren't able to remove any of it. She stayed in the hospital for three weeks. Being terminal, they let my step-daughter take her baby home. She passed away Jan 15, 2009. The doctors and nurses at the hospital were all extremely nice, professional, excellent people. I took as much time off of work as I could afford and spent every minute in the ICU with her. After going back to work I would drive the 90 minutes to the hospital and spend all my time with her until I left for work in the morning. When I went to the restroom or take a shower at the hospital, the nurses would call my cell with theirs so I could hear her monitors. She had a DNR so they didn't want to be around when the monitors went off and I refused to let her die alone. It was an emergency c-section so my step-daughter wasn't allowed on that floor for extended periods of time. Couple that with my step-daughter being in denial that a baby that appeared perfectly healthy was dying, I had no choice but to step up.

Amazing what you can do when you have to.

I was able to get a print out today after practice. New system that even figures how long you take per frame. Even with breaks, talking, etc I average 1:46 per frame over 14 games.

These guidelines are specific to your attempt and must be
followed. Should any guideline be contravened, your attempt
will be disqualified, without any right of appeal.

    3. The format of play shall be pin fall, i.e. 10 pins are bowled at for each initial
bowl, followed by a second bowl at however many pins are left standing after the initial bowl before the pins are reset to 10.
Since the attempt is one continuous event you might want to have the machine in practice mode the whole time. i.e. not scoring game by game.

If you have the machine in the scoring mode a potential problem might occur.

If you spare in a 10th frame, and don't strike on the count ball, the machine will automatically wipe out the remaining pin(s)

Likewise, if you double in a 10th frame, and don't strike on the count ball.

It's a seemingly minor thing, but it does appear to violate rule #3.

mike i see where your going with that but if you set it to where the machine dose not score for you that means u have to scores yourself and that could take away some seconds from your bowling to beating the record.

but i also think once the game is over and it reracks the pins on the finaly shot of the 10th frame i dont think that would do anything about the rule cause its kinda hard to stop mostly when you cant score no more after the 3rd ball in that game.

The record is for pins knocked down. It will not be scored as a regular game. I am assuming Bill will have some volunteers keeping track of that for him.
