If you can get that ball in the weight you want for that price, get it....

Hey everybody, sorry to bother you. I'm hoping someone can help me out here... I have never bowled on a regular basis, but I am going more frequently lately. I am tired of using house balls. A local pro shop recommended the Ebonite Evolve. I have found a couple online, and they were around $130. After drilling, it's a bit more than I was looking to spend. Anyway, I'm looking at the Brunswick C System 4.5 at the moment. I can get one (including shipping) brand new for about $60. Sounds good to me! Is this a good price here, and more importantly is it a good ball? I'm hoping someone has some experience with it, and can point me in the right direction. I would definitely appreciate it!
I should tell you - I like bowling, but I'm not very good. I just need a decent ball that functions well in a variety of conditions, not pointed towards a particular technique, and something that I'll be somewhat happy with beyond just learning. I've found someone who is going to try to teach me a few techniques finally. At the moment, I just throw straight. Excuse me, I TRY to throw it straight. ha ha. Take it easy.
If you can get that ball in the weight you want for that price, get it....

Keep in mind the prices in the pro shop usually includes drilling. Any ball you buy online will have to be taken to a pro shop and you will pay anywhere from 50 to 80 dollars to have it drilled.

That's a $150 ball all day long. If it really is new and your weight for $60, grab it.

Sounds like a great deal. With a symmetric core you should be able to throw it straight at first and then learn to hook it.

Hey, thanks a lot to all of you for your time and help! I underestimated the number of bowling balls on the market, and the extreme differences... so it's definitely cool to get an opinion from people who know their stuff. I really appreciate it. Best wishes to all. -Justin
great deal.....very good ball...... get it drilled with a fingertip grip and get a coach to work with you on throwing it.
