Sure it means something. My first 700 plus my 800's add perfect games were non-sanctioned. No big deal. At least now I know I'm capable and that applies to you also. Now you know you have the ability and they say the first time is the hardest. I don't need a patch, magnet or ring to prove it. You know you did it and that's all the really matters.

That's just like how I bowled a 221, 232, and 233 today while practicing. Yeah, I wish it counted for something but getting them in a row gives me confidence. If you gain one thing from bowling a 751 series, it should be the confidence to do it again....and again.........and again.
Congrats ahankist, santioned or not you shot a great series.
Shiebs, congrats also
Way to go ahankist congrats on your first 700 series!!!!!!
It doesn't matter if it was non-sanctioned or not because you now
know that you have done it and know that you have the ability to
do it again.
Anytime I bowl a 700 or 800 series I'm tickled pink whether it is a
sanctioned or non-sanctioned series because I know I did it. That
is just like bowling 300 games that are non-sanctioned it is still a
300 game no matter if it is sanctioned or not at least a person
knows that they did it.

i know thats true but dont tell me thats not the first thing that goes thru your head
Sure I wish all of my honor scores / series were sanctioned when I bowled them but that is not the case if it were
then I would hold all kinds of local records on the most 300 games and 800 series bowled in our center. I only have
one 299 game and one 300 game and several 700+ series that are sanctioned but I know that one day I will break
out and have a 800+ series that will be sanctioned hopefully anyway.

My first thought when I rolled a 300 (did that before I broke 700) was, damn I actually did it. Now let's see if I can do it again. A month later I did but went through 3 leagues this past season and didn't have any 300s or 700s. I will this year (I hope).
This summer league a client of mine bowled his first 300 and another broke 800. Both of them did it before I did this summer season. I'm happy and happy for them. They are numbers and goals but obtaining them doesn't define us as people or really as bowlers either.
