Welcome to the boards James!!
Hello all, I'm James.
I'm a pin bowler, I still count steps during my delivery and sometimes write "Follow through" on my forearm. I used to bowl, alot, until I burned out on it. Now I'm back on the lanes, just meeting people here.
Welbome to BB James!

Welcome. There are a lot of college and pro bowlers that write reminders on the toes of their shoes. The counting may help you relax so that would help too.

Welcome to the boards, a little reminder never hurts lol
Welcome! I count steps in my head the first few throws it practice lol it helps me remember the proper timing
Welcome back to bowling James! I'm trying to come back from being burnt out as well..
I always counted steps for as long as I can remember.. I talked to myself a lot, too. Towards the end, right before I burned out, I was biting the insides of my lips during delivery, by the end of the night I was always bleeding.
