    I've hit mine but evidently not as bad as you did. I didn't bleed at all but did bruise. Now be careful that you don't subconsciencously start chicken winging to avoid hitting it again. I know my release is right when I feel the ball hit my pant leg on the way by.

    done that before when i first started learning. damn painful. i used to bowl about 18-20mph with 15lbs. some serious force there!

    It happens once every week before. Doesn't really phase me much. I've just been resting it, keeping it clean. Both are nearly healed.
