    Default Is there a Pay Phone or Phone booth still near you?

    Who here still see's a Pay Phone or Phone Booth with or without the phone somewhere near where you live?

    if so, As a extra does it work? and/or have a Phone book with it?


    About the only place here is at the airport.

    Right handed Stroker, high track ,about 13 degree axis tilt. PAP is located 5 9/16” over 1 3/4” up.Speed ave. about 14 mph at the pins. Medium rev’s.High Game 300, High series 798

    the 7Elevens around me still have a pay phone and a phone book (or some of one at least)

    I haven't seen a pay phone or booth in what seems like forever!

    I work in downtown Tulsa and some of the old high rises we owned had them but everything has been taken out. I think my local pub still have one that works I'll look next time I'm out getting a beer. If so I'll snap a photo.

    Only place I've seen them are at airports and hospitals. None out in public.

    I haven't seen one of them in several years around here
    seen an empty spot where one used to be but that's about
    it.

    Yeah, there are a few around. I wouldn't touch them to see if they still work... at this point they're all at least 20 years old and covered in grime/filth

    I know of a couple near 7-Elevens…both near me and near where I work. But I don't think they have phones or phone books.

    There has to be phone booths around, otherwise The Matrix is a false portrayal of the future.
