    Default Creating New Balls

I currently have the Mastermind Genius and RotoGrip UpRoar. I was having problems with the grip layouts. Modifying the layouts, NO radical changes, for span, thumb angle and slight finger pitch resulted in new balls. I practiced today on fresh oil for 4 games. 3 with the mastermind. I then changed to the UpRoar. I was working on my body position today. The result was the UpRoar was ending up on the left side of the pins. No I had not screwed up my delivery. The crazy ball acted as if I was Belmonte. I now have to work on delivery control all over again. It is going to be a fun summer.

I gave up on my Uproar after getting it re-drilled as it was too strong of a ball for what I had purchased it for...medium-light/dry lanes. Think Roto-Grip had some false advertising with that ball as I was never able to use it in those conditions. It just did not match up to my style at all.

I found that the Mastermind finishes more than the UpRoar and was VERY pleased with this combination. Now with both balls modified layout they are both stronger yet. Another issue is that I have NOT had them in the oven. I practice Monday and Friday at 2 lanes which lay down different oil volume. Friday is still heavy and the Mastermind handles it better. If this reply sounds a little confused then you should have seen the look on my face Monday.
It seems that I am now a HIGH REV player.
