    Default flat wrist position?

    maybe i have this all wrong but using the face of a clock, what is a flat wrist position to kill a shot say like the 10 pin ? am i right to say that the thumb should be at the 9 o'clock position to do this?

    I think its more that the fingers have to be at 6 o'clock, and the wrist isn't really flat but is bent slightly backwards.
