Thread: Bowler's facebooks

    Default Bowler's facebooks

"How come we never hear about a psychic winning the lottery?"

That's what Pete Weber just wrote on his facebook.

I think it's great that some of the pro bowlers are actually using twitter and facebook for their fans. Mike Fagan has actually responded to a couple of my post.

I agree, I love the interaction the bowlers have with fans on twitter and facebook. I think it is both good for the game and the bowler themselves. In an individual sport like bowling, fans are the thing that will keep it alive and interaction keeps the fans involved which keeps them coming back! I love it!!!

Fagan has a Tumblr as well. They're professional bowlers, but they're people just like us. Just sometimes they don't have the time to reply to everyone. That's just how it is.

Fagan and Rash seem to keep up to date with their social media than the others but most post a couple of times a week. I think it's great but wonder who showed the older guys (Weber, WRW) how to use it lol

    haha

well both WRW and Weber are extremely smart marketers. I assume you've seen the "league of ordinary bowlers" documentary. WRW knows how to use sponsors really well, and plays to the crowd even though you can tell it's not his style. Weber plays the bad guy angle perfectly and causes excitement in the tourneys. I'm sure both of these guys realized that facebook pages = more fans = more money.

Now will someone just explain facebook to Duke
