What is the difference between Brunswick's 500 Siaair Micro Pad and the 500 Abralon Pad? Are they basically the same just a different brand? I have a 500 Abralon Pad so I'm familiar with it but not the Siaair Pad.
I believe they are the same, just different companies.

As for the grit there is no practical difference between Abralon and Siaair when new both use the same scale.
Abralon uses silicon carbide as its abrasive
Siaair uses aluminum oxide as its abrasive.
Siaair last's longer than Abralon, But Abralon is a little cheaper in cost.
You can make Abralon last longer if your careful not to use too much pressure when using them.

I found it but it was Bowl1820's post and it said basically what he did above.
Another thing I found that he posted was a grit chart on another thread. I will add it here before someone asks about the Abralon/Siaair grit versus sandpaper.
