What are your other interests/hobbies besides bowling?

I've always enjoyed bowling but would only go 1-2 times a year. Been getting more into it the last few months. New ball, shoes, etc. Now with coupons I bowl almost every weekend.

My other interests are photography, volleyball, and auto detailing.

Auto Detailing is a hobby?

Absolutely! Not for me, but my brother is huge into Auto Detailing spends probably thousands of dollars every year on it and will create his own equipment to make detailing his car easier. If I ever need my car washed I'll just go visit my brothers place, he'll see how dirty it is and jump to cleaning it without anyone saying anything about it.

My other hobbies would be Archery, Riding and working on my motorcycle, video games, woodworking (specifically pens and other such objects on my lathe).

Golf and volleyball (spring/summer leagues are getting ready to start!), movies, tech. I'm concerned that I don't have much more available time for another hobby, but bows/archery has caught my interest recently.

If the type of archery you're interested in is target shooting and not hunting I'd say it's as pick-up-and-go as bowling is. You can get by with just a cheap recurve/compound bow and some arrows. Heck you don't even need a specific place to do it, just find a clear open space with 20 yards and start shooting. It's great fun.

Yep, it's expensive. I cringe every time I see someone using the brushes at the car wash to "clean" their car. Not knowing how bad they are scratching it.

I like to hunt, target shoot, and fish. Most of my " spare time " it's spent with my kids. They all took up bowling this year. Had to go from a sedan to a minivan just to haul the family and all the equipment around. I also play some video games with the kids. I beat them in bowling, they kill me in Mario Kart.

Couldn't agree more, I spent a few years detailing cars for a dealership and then for other people. I've got all the gear at my house and can easily kill a day cleaning my vehicles.

Back to the topic. I enjoy fishing, watching sports, and hanging out at the dog park with my two siberian huskies.

Ha! Same with me! I loved playing Mario Kart with my kids! But they CREAMED me! But I can still beat 'em at bowling. Got them their own balls, bags, and shoes for Xmas this year. Both balls are plastic -- my daughter's is a Brunswick T-Zone (Pink bliss), and my son's is a DV8 gold flake.

That's the good thing about bowling. Year round action. And gets better when it's snowing outside and people are scared to venture out. You get the bowling alley all to yourself

That would be creepy. I wouldn't want to be the only one. Maybe 4 or 5 other lanes in use, preferably a few lanes away at least.

Brings up another topic, do your alleys close down early if it's empty or near empty.

I know one time we got "rushed" out on a Sunday evening around 10pm (they close at 11pm) because we were the only ones left. Rushed meaning there were 3 of us on one lane, they switched us all to 3 separate lanes.

Some places don't even post a close time. They close at their discretion.

My other hobbies are lifting weights, I've done 2 powerlifting competitions though last one was in 2010. I'm battling some injuries right now, but hopefully will heal and try to do some sort of competition in 2016, maybe all around meet where they contest some old school, odd lifts. Grilling/barbecuing/smoking (none of the 3 are the same)

You got that right I have to laugh at people that think BBQ is throw some coals on the grill soak it with starting fluid and light it and a few minutes later toss the meat on. Low and slow with meat that's been rubbed some wood for smoking. Makes me want to get the offset smoker out and do some pulled pork but I don't have 10 hours to spare right now and I'm out of wood.

What are your other interests/hobbies besides bowling?

There's hobbies other than bowling?? That doesn't sound right.

At THIS point...while I'd love to play paintball again, get back into taekwondo, get back into tennis, and get back into running...and I'd really like to learn to surf given my location...maybe even race remote control trucks again... I try to get to the shooting (pistol) range once in awhile. And I've been meaning to learn how to play the banjo and take some lessons...but haven't yet.

The truth of the matter is I just don't have enough days in the week. I bowl leagues twice a week and practice at least every other week. For exercise (and fun) I try to play hockey (ice) once a week on Fridays before work. And once a month I try my luck in a poker tournament at a casino about 2 hours away. Gotta keep 1-2 days open for the LADIES...if ya know what I mean  ...maybe a day to myself...another day to handle chores, bills, other such nonsense...and my week is used up. Maybe 1-2 times a month I still get a round of golf in...but that's if I'm lucky. Usually that's an every other month thing.

So, Mudpuppy Cliff Notes: Bowling, Womanizing, Hockey (ice), Poker, and Golf.

1/10 RC short course and scale crawlers (slowed down, I enjoy hanging out with my 2 year old daughter mostly these days).

When everyone is asleep, I roll up a fat joint, play PES 2015 soccer on my PS3, and chill out with my Doberman...... lol just kidding about the joint.

If there was a beach near me, I'd be spear fishing and/or surfing.......
