We are all used to seeing the honor scores for a normal 3 games series and I am curious about how that applies to scores when bowled in a 4 game league set.

I have seen at times people use the first 3 games of a 4 game set as if it were a regular 3 game series but I am not sure if that is the correct application or if it is does the back 3 games also "count" as a 3 game series. After all they are both 3 games in sequence.
Just curious how that works.

Heres from the USBC rules

3. Series Qualifications.
Three consecutive games must be bowled in USBC league or tournament play to qualify for series
awards.
a. A series shall be figured as follows:
1) If more than three but less than six games are bowled, use the first three games.
2) If six or more games are bowled, use each succeeding set of three games following the first
three games.

Guess I should have bowled the crappy game last, if they allowed the last 3 I would have had a 700. Guess I better do that next time out in the wed night league where we only bowl 3 !
Still had a 617 for the front 3, so I'll take that.
