Bowling, what a game

One day I go 692 then 564 few days later...

I go 548 the next week... then go 792 the following week later...what a game this is...

Same house, same ball, same lane pattern, but different mind set I guess...

Waiting for this season to end...

I know what you mean.

For me it comes down to carry and the people I am bowling behind.
Sometimes even who ran the lane machine makes a difference at one center I bowl.

Not just night to night sometimes its game to game. I've gone 240+ then 160+ then 220+ again.

Maybe this is the year for scores like these. I sandwiched a 500 and 498 between three 600+ series. The 500 I finished with a 212. Crazy up and down Year.

I hear you... over the last month I've been way over or way under avg week to week. Same house, balls, etc... Guess sometimes I match up right and sometimes I don't.

At least they aren't all low... I'd be pretty pumped to get back on the lanes after a 792 too!

Nice Bowling, funny thing about this game some nights you think you are throwing the ball good and can't score. Then the next night you do everything wrong and score great!!

When one pin falling or not can make a 21-pin difference in your final score, there's a lot of variance at the top.

Not every off night does this happen. but stress from home, or work, or hitting the buffet too many times before leagues can contribute to a bad outing at leagues. On these nights, I don't go through my normal routine. I have about 3 hours to prepare for league (second shift) and I set aside 15-30 min. for warm ups at home. Part of my routine is swinging a "swing trainer" and stretching out and/or some cardio in the garage after a light somewhat healthy diner. I need to get my blood flowing, 9:30 to 10:30pm is my bed time.

It's more of being in the right mental state of mind.

Yeah I hear ya this bowling game can be crazy sometimes like one week
I'll shoot 667 then the next week a 597 then come back next week and
shoot 748 then back to 633 etc,etc.etc. rinse and repeat it's just such a
crazy game from week to week.
