My question would probably be hey Pete do you still remember me and the few times I
beat you in a few Southern Regional Tournaments?
I'm guessing his answer would be who the He** are you anyway, because I am. LOL!!!!!!

How does Pete achieve the particular type of ball motion he has?
or
What should a bowler do to have a strong mental game?

I would ask about how he made it through the mid 80's to the early 90's with all the crap he went through, and if he ever thought he'd reached his current status now during the mid 90's when he couldn't win...

LOL
I've only have met a handful of pros. Most of them seemed stressed and not very engaging.
Matt O'Grady I actually had a conversation with. Really cool guy too.

I'd be tempted to ask him the same thing.
I'd also ask him what he thinks is the key to his longevity and such a long history of success. While he's not my favorite bowler, the guy has managed to stay at the top level despite the numerous changes to the game since he was a rookie. Many bowlers have had career-ending injuries, lost their game, and were beaten out by technology and younger talent...Pete continues to dominate in the PBA50 and even on the national PBA tour...I'd love to know what he has done (or not done).

Yep, off the top of my head the four who are still competitive at their age are PDW, WRW, Duke, and PB3 with PDW and Duke a bit ahead of the other two.

PDW and I are friends and he has always been very good to me, and here's an example.
Tuesday at the Masters, I was working the tournament for the USBC and Pete ended up on a pair that was assigned to me. He just threw a strike on lane 68, and when he was walking back he saw me, pointed at me, came up and we shook hands while exchanging pleasantries for a minute or so. The people that were there, their eyes got as big as basket balls! lol
This is not normal for him to do. When he's on the lanes he's is very intense and focused on his game.
He also doesn't tolerate bs very well either. One of the announcements made before competition started, was that taking photos and videos was not allowed, and when somebody was taking a picture of him he started getting vocal about it and told the person they are not allowed to do that.
Needless to say, it did not take long for tournament personnel to get there to find out what was going on! lol
When he doesn't throw a ball well he will start cussing and get animated, and I saw that more than once that day. lol
Fortunately for me, I know a few other pros and they are always talkative to me. They are a darn good bunch and I'm proud to say they are friends of mine.

Thank you all for participating in my little survey. I actually interviewed Pete this morning for BTM next month. Special thanks to Bowl1820 and Janderson from Bowling Boards, and MegaMav and TonyPR from Bowl Chat... your questions, all or in part made it into the interview. I especially liked TonyPR's question, "How does it feel to be a fifty plus year old rock star?" Pete got quite a laugh out of that one any replied, "Awesome!"

That would be a fun read. Too bad I no longer subscribe to BTM anymore.
