I'm just curious if I am the only one on the board that currently works at a bowling center. Some of you at least seem as though you do or at least used to. If yes to either, what is/was your role?

I used to work in the Pro Shop drilling, plugging, refinishing, doing the
works so to speak. When the other new owner came in and took over
the other guy that was training me both he and I didn't actually see
eye to eye with the way the new owner was doing things and we quit
working there but I still bowl there still. The new owners we have now
are doing a great job with the place and I'm glad the old owner is gone
now.

Yeah it's not fun working somewhere when you have to battle with boss. I've had jobs like that in the past and it just makes it miserable to go into work every day. Luckily my boss is pretty down to earth and an all around good guy. That goes for the rest of the employees, I get along with all of them very well. The young ones have crappy work ethics though. They stand around a lot, assume "somebody else" will do what they should be doing, play on their phones and not very punctual but that's their generation I guess. I don't let it bother me, I keep friendly with them and do my job and mind my own business. I'm not the boss so until that happens I'm not sweating it.
