Dave, I agree. I prefer polished balls with big back ends. Seems they don't care much about oil as the back ends are usually dry anyway.

Now that I see there are some new balls coming out on halloween maybe you should wait and try those. The ball does react nice in the back end though.

Wow that's a 30 minute drive from my house. I've bowled those lanes a few times in the past and they are tough. The high school regional were held there last year and kids who were 220+ average bowlers were shooting low 500 series.

If you make it up to that bill let me know I'll come out and have a drink with ya and show you around the dump that is western NY

My first and only ball is a 14lb Brunswick rattler, its getting old now (5 years) so i might just replace it with a marauder, it looks like a great ball.
