Thread: Using the "Sarge Easter" grip two handed?

Default Using the "Sarge Easter" grip two handed?

Hey guys, recently I've been having trouble with my ring finger. I'm getting these nasty blood blisters deep in the callus of my finger. They are sometimes painful, and extremely annoying.

I've been looking into the sarge easter grip for a while, and I know that it reduces stress of the ring finger, but as you all know I bowl two handed. Is even possible to throw sarge easter two handed?

How about using bowling tape on the fingers to protect them? It might be a cheaper solution and easier solution that having the plug and re-drill for a different grip.

I believe sarge easter cuts down on rev rate anyway, I doubt you want to lower your rev rate....

I'll try it, but will that be a long term solution?

I'd be fine with my rev rate being lower. Less variables to deal with, lol.

Rev Rate doesn't really matter to me anymore anyway. Throwing two handed will keep it high anyway.

The Sarge Easter grip will lower your rev's only when you first start using it. Once you get use to it your rev's go right back up.

Don't you bowl with 2 fingers only? Have you calculated your rev rate bowling with 3 fingers using fingertip, and then calculated your rev rate after changing to sarge easter?

You have a violent type of swing, not as easy and relaxed compared to Belmo or Osku. I'd work with using tape than changing grip.
