    Default Worlds Most Dedicated Bowler

I have told newbies to our leagues about this retired guy who used to drive from Arkansas to Illinois to bowl in his Mon or Tues nite league. People think Im losing my marbles or the bats are loose, but I used to carry that article in my bag. its long gone now and I am trying to get it again. he always showed up except the week he had a heart attack. the article detailed his journey, stops, cars, etc,. If anyone finds it lmk

the reason Im looking for it is two-fold. One it fascinated me. Two, u have that teammate that's habitually late for no reason. you then have to stall, take ur time so he could make it before the end of the 5th frame...at the end of the nite, I would show him the article and tell him to get his *** on time

The guy lived and worked in Ill. When he retired he moved to Ark, yet he continued to bowl in his weekly league in Countryside,Ill. Believe it was a VFW or guys he worked with type league.
