I tried playing a similar line with my Storm Virtual Gravity Pearl Nano with mixed results.

The shot is just ridiculous. Especially to call it a "house shot".
It was probably drilled pin up, which is how he was able to get it to hold. Is a modified house shot technically a sport shot? From the way it's described it sounds like one. Also does anyone who runs the tournament bowl in it? That could be an issue also, being they could choose their favorite shot to bowl on and increase their chances.
In my bag: Roto Grip Haywire, Ebonite Cyclone Gamebreaker, Brunswick danger zone vintage, Brunswick C-system Maxxed out and Columbia WD. High Game 300 (x3) high series 790...still searching for the 800.

I've run into this type of pattern twice. In one house it was for a traveling league that was supposed to be played on a challenge shot, the houses have been know to try and put out a shot that benefits their bowlers. The other time was for a tournament that was supposed to be on a house shot and yes there was some of the employees that were bowling in at least.

I don't know about the pin up thing all of my balls are drilled pin up, I would say that I have similar stats as the other bowler I mentioned and I don't believe that I could get that strong of a ball with that much surface to get that far right that deep without it starting to hook and go though the nose.
