If your list doesn't say, then you have to ask check with the house.
I was looking at the list of summer leagues at 2 houses near me. One is an AMF and the other isn't. How would I know which leagues are USBC sanctioned?
The league I'm in now is not sanctioned which is ok but I didn't know that until showing up first week.

There hasn't been sanction leagues for a long time. There are Certified leagues. Go to google and look up your local bowling assn. There should be a phone number on their web site. Call them and ask if either league is CERTIFIED.
Yours is Probably "long island USBC". Just a guess mine is Metro Detroit USBC. "MDUSBC"
Thanks for the responses, I went to one of the houses to practice a few games today and talked with a manager who let me know which leagues were what for the summer season.

Makes sense, because there isn't no such thing as sanctioning any more. Why is that so hard to understand? Fumb Duck.
Why get all upset because someone uses that term, did you understand what they were talking about ? A simple correction is probably enough.
In addition when calling someone a derogatory name, it looks better when you use better grammar than " isn't no such thing", make sense ?
