Default I noticed a scratch on my ball

On my Track Heat I noticed a scratch right on the track of my ball. I ran my fingernail in it and it is narrow but 4''s long. Does not look like it's cracked. Is that a problem. I've only had the ball maybe 4 months. I will show it to my PSO but want opinions first. No pictures yet cause it's in a locker at the house.

If it's just a scatch it shouldn't be a problem, normal wear and tear. As long as it's not a big gouge or chip of some sort you'll be fine.

However if you want it out, a quick surface change should do the trick. Like I said though, since it's most likely not affecting your performance in any way that would be purely aesthetic.

I do not want it re surfaced since it does what I want it to do. it was stuck the other day and had to be sent back by the pin chaser and I guess that's when it happened. I will show it to the PSO anyway since I bought it there like 3 months ago. I'm not really concerned but it happens to be right on my track...strange that;s it's there.I hear a lot about Track ball's cracking.....

The PSO should be able to resurface the ball and restore it to OOB or very close.

I'd have to say if the scratch in your track doesn't affect your
ball reaction then I wouldn't worry too much about it as it has
already been said it is only aesthetic and you will get many,
many scratches on it over time.

I have a bowling ball that's less that a year old and has a pretty decent gouge out of it right near the thumb hole, I probably should get it repaired but since it doesn't seem to hurt anything I've left it, had the same thing happen with a ball I just traded to a teammate, except it was near finger hole, also happened in the first 6 months I used the ball, it seems like most of the recent Storm balls I've had have had this happen and none of the other brands....however I do use the Storm balls more often.

Every ball I own has some kind of knick, scratch or gouge. They stay there until I resurface them. Until the scores are modify for style I don't care what it looks like only how it performs.

since the ball is only 3 months old I will show it to my PSO and he will probably blame the house. I just don't want it to turn into a crack. Dam I just got a locker this week or it would be here so I could take a picture...timing is everything...lol
