I listen to almost everything but rap and country, though there are exceptions to those rules. I managed to fill my 8 gig mp3 player, so I've had to get an expansion card for it. Another 8. Between the wife and I we have somewhere in the neighborhood of 1400 cds, though she's more hidebound than I in her tastes. Not sure how many albums we have, over 1000. I've been meaning to digitize them, but can't seem to find the time. An example: yesterday my player went from "If I Only Had A Brain" from the Wizard of Oz to "Pump Up the Volume" from Marrs. Both "old school", huh?

Well, I'm a country musician, but there's at least something about every type of music that I like.

Bluegrass is my favorite. R&B, 70's soul music, 80's New Wave, Renaissance Choral music, Lots of different types of rock, singer/songwriter. There's good stuff to be found in every genre.
My new CD, 'What I'm Made Of' is available now at www.dustinseymour.com, iTunes, Amazon and more!

I've seen the following bands live in concert, and every one of them rocked:
Ted "Motor City Madman" Nugent, Rush, Journey, REO Speedwagon, and even the late Warren Zevon rocked. I wish I had been able to see the following bands (while I was still young and still could hear without a ringing in my ears)...Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, Neil Young, Robin Trower, Traffic, and the late Stevie Ray Vaughn. To me, the best classic rock bands always seemed to be from England or Canada for some reason, but growing up in the Midwest, some of the rustbelt groups could really rock.

The closest thing to country that I enjoy is the Allman Brothers, Lynard Skynard {sp}, The Outlaws, Molly Hatchet, The Black Crowes, REM, and Dustin Seymour.
What is seen is temporary, what is unseen is eternal.
