I use the 3-6-9 system for the pins right of the head pin.....does anyone know a system for pins on the left side for people who stand less than 9 boards from the gutter? I usually start between boards 7.5 and 12 (depending on ball & lane conditions). For spares on the left I'll usually stand at 7.5 and just play a different arrow.

Not sure how "right' this is but when I play outside, for left pins I move my mark 3-6-9 and so far it seems to work.
Other times I just throw my plastic really hard and straight as I can at them.

I sometimes do the same when playing up the first arrow. Most of the time throw straight and target on the third arrow for spares, regardless of where I'm lined up for strikes.
