    Default Time for celebration....

A team-mate of mine from my Monday PM league handed me a key chain that I "won" as an award for bowling a game of 250+ AND yesterday I noticed that my status here on BB has been upgraded to "Ringer!" I am no longer a sand-bagger. So, it was time to celebrate. Went out yesterday and got myself a new pair of bowling shoes - White/Gold SST8s. Can't wait to try them out....hopefully Monday!

let me know what you think of those shoes if you would. I 've been thinking about geting a pair myself,,, that's the Dexter brand right? I bowl in sandals at the present time. ((but they are a dedicated pair that I keep in my bowling bag))! They are regular sandals, non slid, but work fine. If you would, since I will beordering from Bowlingball.com, let me know how the size fits, in compared to your street size shoe. Thanks,,, and Congrat's!!!!

Hiya Mike. I can tell you right off that "out of the box" they are pretty darned comfortable (for my foot) though they are fairly stiff. I can see that I will need to throw a couple lines with them before I use them in competition. Size-wise, I wear a size 11 in nearly all of my dress shoes and sneakers, but in these I got 10.5s as they do seem to run a bit larger. If you were to go with 1/2 size smaller than your normal shoe size I think you would be okay....

Thanks a lot!!! Good luck with your new shoes, and I will be looking forward to hearing what you think of them! Funny most shoes I wear a 12, but some a 13.
Depends on the brand of shoe. hummmmmm I wish there was a store around here that sold dexter top in bowling shoes. Amf's around town carry them, but they are the cheaper not changeable ones,,,!

well, you could try on a lower quality pair to get your size then buy the high end shoes online.
