    Hmm.....

I would have to say the funniest thing i experienced while bowling was how my team won our third game tonight.... the guy needed 2 strikes and a 8 count to win the match for his team, he got the strikes and thought he had it in the bag so he thought he was screw around and throw coast to coast for the last shot.... well he sent the ball right through the nose and left the big 4 lol

moral of the story: don't get cocky... the bowling gods hate cocky people

Ben, if this was true then Sean Rash and Peter Weber would be used car salesman or flipping burgers for a living! The bowling Gods hate MOST cocky people, especially amateurs.

To me the funniest thing I hear are when someone hits Brooklyn and leaves a pin, and they yell "I was robbed." Really? Or when a guy who throws a straight ball, right down the middle complains cause the 5 pin is still standing even though he "hit the pocket" Or whe someone (maybe a teammate who refuses to listen to me) blames the lanes, and the "odd" oil pattern (I know, house patterns are a *****) on why he is bowling like crap. Your right, it has nothing to do with the fact your throwing a Freeze you bought 2 years ago, and never had it resurfaced or even cleaned it once, and you are trying to go straight down the right side even though you don't use your thumb, and you missed your mark by 3 feet. I also laugh when someone leaves the 10 pin 4 times in the same game, makes no adjustments (I guess magic was going to solve his issue) and then says, I should be bowling a perfect game. Yeah, maybe on the Wii.
Trying not to suck, one day at a time.

That's not funny to me... That's just annoying. hahahaha. Eh. I don't know enough about bowling to get too upset about anything like that.

I DO enjoy the head cases though... They're always fun! I'm a pretty level headed kinda guy. I might let out the occasional Charlie Brown-esque, "AAAAarrrrrgh!" but it ends there for me, and I'm done with that shot/thought. But I LOVE the people who feel they need to throw their towel or kick the machine or hit something. Those guys are great! It always puts a smile on my face, especially if I'm bowling them straight up, because I know their head is completely gone!!! hahahaha.

Recently a guy like that was bowling ****ty (his form is awful, but he claimed he threw his first 575 series the night before we bowled) and he was throwing towels, and whatnot, you name it. I kicked the everloving snot out of him all night and enjoyed it. 3rd game, I had him by something crazy like 75 pins through 6, and he put together a double (A DOUBLE! XX) and dropped and did push-ups right on the lane in victory triumph. hahahahahahaa. That was priceless!

We need more humor in our lives.
Not helping the situation since 1983.
