Yea, bowl.com is how I found my coach. They have coaches listed that are actually certified. While my average hasn't drastically improved since getting coaching, I've managed to change so many things in such a short times. It's only been about two and a half months and I've managed a lot of improvements. Went from a 4 step to 5 step which gave me a little more speed and more consistency. Finally learned how to throw a relaxed shot without muscling it. Slightly cupping the ball and not being on top of the ball when I throw. A lot of timing stuff. Plus my coach gave me my Storm Invasion for free since he's such a great guy. And he only charges me $40 for about an hour and a half or so of work which is good considering he's bronze level. He's also let me join him when he practices on sports shots and we just have fun throwing balls without charging me anything.

Getting a coach has added a fair amount of confidence to my game.

Just got done with a little Practice.
    Bowled a 151, 114, 199, 168 for a 632 series!

Had trouble finding the pocket until 3Rd game.

I Hope the coach can help me adjust to a lane within 2 or 3 frames.

Check the bowling scores thread for my stats

As far as help, try recording a video of your release from behind and maybe the side as well.

Kinda hard to video tape from the side when the house is PACKED

That is why I stated MAYBE in my previous post. But actually, it's not that difficult if you ask the person on the next lane over if you can wait. I'm sure they would for a shot or 2.

If that was the case I would feel rushed.

Maybe can reserve the end of the house lane and the one I am bowling on. Lanes 49 and 50.

In what way were you having trouble? Missing your mark? Ball not hooking enough or hooking too much when you start out?

Why would you feel rushed? Everyone is there to have fun. There's nothing wrong for asking. If they're adults, they would understand. I often let people record themselves on the lanes next to me. I've often done the recording.
