I've never, ever would think of even trying to sell a used ball for what I paid for it new.
Given that a used ball isn't worth more than $50 around here, I donate mine to the youth league or high school team.
I now need to sell some of my bowling balls, and my question is: Have any of you ever used Crags List to sell bowling balls. Any luck getting what you paid for them new since they are already drilled?
Like the little old lady that lived in a shoe, my garage work shop is getting dangerous,,,,, avalanche being my main concern!! Thinking about taking pictures of them, and listing them!
One ball I will NEVER SALE,,, is my Storm IQ tour butterscotch sweet 300 ball! It is now a part of my family!!

I was just kidding about the (Getting what I paid for them new, no charge for the pre-drilled holes) lol..... Bill don't you know me by now??? (
I don't like kids much, so don't plan on giving them to some brat!!
Now,,, if I knew of some good needy young man or woman, I might be more prone to giving them a ball. Most kids now days don't deserve a free ball! Too many of them are takers themselves, and not givers! Give me,,, give me,,,,, give me,,, Most don't know what a hard days work is on the farm!! Play them darn video games all day long while eating potato chips, and drink coke, while mom and day work their tails off! They have no PRIDE, takers Bill!!
I don't know about you bill,,, but no one ever gave me anything I didn't earn myself!
I would gladly give some of my balls away if knew them personally, and did background checks on them!! Some Kids,,,,,,,((((MANY)))) get to much handed down to them, and don't know the meaning of "WORK"!
I had a job from when I was 10 years old, until I retired doing Iron Work. I wouldn't accept anything I didn't work for. My first job at 10 was milking cows for my Uncle Jeremiah in the small town I grew up in! Also delivered the milk with a bike and hand made trailer. The milk was in a glass bottle and we delivered it to the front doors of the customers!

You could also (possibly) sell through your pro-shop? I've heard of people doing that. The pro shop gets a commission, naturally, but you don't have to be bothered with going through the work of listing them online, dealing with people you don't know, or worrying that some brat will want to take them from you!
I have to agree with MICHAEL on the one ball I will never sell. I shot my one and only 300 with a Brunswick punisher. the ball is no longer useable but I will never sell it!!!
