    Default Wrist Supports

    Hi all!

I don't have the strongest wrist so I am looking to purchase a wrist support. With that being said, there are so many different options and I don't know what is for me. It would be nice to find something that could help me position my wrist but most importantly, I would like something to keep my wrist in that strong position. First of all, what are all of the options? What do they do and which one is right for me? Any recommendations would be appreciated.

    Thank you,
    Casey

Your best bet would be to go to a well stocked pro shop and try on a few. Any support that is adjustable and locks in place will keep your wrist where you want it.
These supports can also shorten your span slightly. If you start to develop a callous or blister near the base of your thumb, this is likely the culprit.

different company's have different styles from cheap less than $5 to $$$ multi priced
from light weight like an ace bandage to heavy w/metal bars (single & double)
from just over wrist to over fingers to glove style
go to your pro shop and explain what your looking for and they will be able to assist with
letting you try them on and explain the benefits between the styles and help you decide
what is in your best interest for what you are wanting to accomplish with wearing one of them.

Backing up Bill and Judy on this - go to a well stocked Pro shop - because how you throw the ball and what you are trying to achieve will drive which wrist support is going to work best.

Also if you got a coach ask them if they even want you to have a wrist support cause I bought one and turns out my coach didn't want me to use it so I bought one for nothing and she showed me a way to bowl that wouldn't hurt my wrist. but I also agree with bill find one that locks that's the kind my coach wears if your coach OKs you having a wrist support cause don't wanna spend good money for nothing cause those the wrist support that locks can cost up to like 50 or 60 bucks so I wait and see what your coach says then if says its OK then go ahead and spend the money.
