Default What ball works best for you on league night on dry to medium-dry THS patterns?

Mine is my Blue Hammer that I bought last October or November. Depending on how the oil is laid out for league night I have had this ball arc nicely and controlled to the pocket when there is enough oil or playing it deeper on a drier night where it hooks hard to the pocket after bellying it out to the spot between the fifth and tenth board. One night I had my right foot arch on board 22-I am left handed- and I was shooting for a break point of board 10. Needless to say my shoulders didn't close enough on the downswing and the ball swung out to the 2 board and hooked hard to the pocket.
Not bad for a urethane ball with a 4000 Abralon surface. I find this ball great for corner pin spares. I can throw this ball with very little hook for those shots.

I have/throw one ball. If my release and follow-through are good, it hooks some. If my release and follow-through are lazy...it's essentially a straight ball with some "flare" at the end. House oil conditions are irrelevant.

Since being on this Forum it seems like that Crossroad ball is a very good ball for THS patterns.

yea its perfect for ths. Being a hybrid its pretty versatile in uses. I also heard it responds very well to surface changes. I personally keep it a oob 1500 grit polished cuz it works well.

I really like my Meanstreak Brawler, but we may experience different lane conditions here in the desert.

I either throw a Brunswick Damage in the medium THS shots or a polished Hellraiser Revenge.

Both are versatile and play anywhere I want them to.

I start with my good old trusty Frantic, then will move to my Freak'n Frantic if my Frantic starts to check up to early. I can't throw anything higher rated than "Medium" on a THS, just either burns up and I get a ton of washouts or hits so far left that I might as well be throwing it on the other lane.

Yep - urethane is the go on dryer conditions - especially so if you throw less than 12 m.p.h.
If you can get it up to around the 15 m.p.h. mark, then you can toss the resin down there. The faster you throw on dryer conditions, the less hook you get, unless you're a cranker.
